The Vital SIGNS of Doing Life Together (DLT)LOVE is above all. It needs to flow through everything we do and say for each other. 'Love does not seek its own' Paul said in Corinthians. So we need to constantly be aware of not serving self but others. TRUST is another vital sign. We must learn to trust each other, for the matters that will surface in a small groups may be very personal. VULNERABILITY. We can not help each other if we are not vulnerable. Vulnerability is a very scary thing at first. But together we have learned that it is a most liberating experience. PRAYER is not just a closing eyes, folding hands and bowing head ritual. Though prayer is simply going to the King, or the Father, and telling Him of the events of our lives, whether that be the joy we've experienced or the hardships we are facing, or interceding on behalf of another, it goes far beyond the ordinary and sets the heavenlies into motion. FAITH keeps us going together. Prayer not coupled with faith gets us nowhere. Rather, prayer without faith will disintegrate our groups. He that comes to God must believe that He is. THE HOLY SPIRIT. You may have a facilitator in your group but make the Holy Spirit your group leader. He will lead you into places where few other dare to go. But more, when He takes us to those places. He bring along everything needed to take us though...On the other side is freedom. Metamorphosis /Transformation
